The main difference on changing the rear brake pads or rear brake rotors on a VW Jetta TDI (2006 shown but it will also work on 2005.5-2010 and the cup edition) is that the carrier bolts are triple square (12 point) and that the rotor set screw is now a allen head instead of a phillips.

The only thing to watch out for is that the space for the 15mm carrier nut is narrow so not all open ended wrenches will fit.
