Chitty are you available to help diagnose my charging problem? Either today or tomorrow? I will buy lunch drinks give you cash. I am at wits end. Bill You should know me you have helped me a few times before.
I bought the complete timing belt kit and tools from site sponsor IDPARTS and trying to wait for warmer weather to start the job. Great service from idparts free shipping and I had everything in 2 days.
Hi. I'm new to this site. been trying to find a crank yank and T10392 puller for rent. I'm deleting the bsm on my b5.5 with the bhw motor and ran into a road block. I read that members can rent tools from here. Can we make something happen??? Thanks.
Chitty my 2010 Jetta has been running great and just hit 109,000 miles. I saw your Youtube video on a full timing belt job. Great job and very informative. In the spring I am doing the complete job with DSG fluid and filter change. My ? is where can I rent or borrow the tools for the timing belt job?
I too have question for you I've just done the timing belt on N 09 JETTA TDI at the end of the article on the procedure in the torque section it says the manual says to replace the cam and pump sprocket bolts is this necc. as I didn't do it (at least not yet)
Thanks for taking the time to write the article and to answer my question.
I was wanting to check availability and rent the tools to replace the camshaft and the timing belt. I have a 2006 Jetta TDI PD engine (BRM). As far as the time I would like them shipped, the sooner the better. I am sure that is about what you expect from people that don't plan on replacing their cam. Anyway, I know you have a job to do also, so whenever you can ship them would be great.
