I have a 2004 Jetta wagon GLS TDI with 161,xxx. I noticed that if I am coasting near or above 2000 rpm I hear a whine coming from what I believe to be the turbo. as soon as I press on the accelerator the whine immediately goes away. does anyone know what might cause this noise? And how to resolve it? Thanks in advance.
