P3130 EGR code

Hi...I'm new to this forum...great website with lots of information...I'm having a problem with my 2000
Beetle with the P3130 EGR code...exceeded limit. Have replaced EGR vavlve and cleaned out manifold
checked all vacuum lines and cleared code but it keeps coming back on...Was wondering where i can get
the range limit numbers and how are the limits measured by the cars computer...any thoughts

Thanks for the response and info Keith...will check those items ...cleared the code yesterday and have not had CEL light come back on yet...only difference is i have been allowing more warm up time before driving...still cold here..again thanks
