Trying to help my 64 year old mother fix her car, I've rebuilt my sprinter but not familiar with VW and not savvy with sensor issues...
The car was getting a Mass Air flow code so I changed that, immediately after it changed to intake air temp sensor p0113 circuit high voltage. Changed MAP sensor on intercooler, but the code remains.
The car needed other work, so I have it apart right now. Warped valve cover and coolant is disappearing so I'm also doing the intake manifold gasket. I found 3 sensors immediately post turbo, 2 of them seem nearly identical, and the 3rd is bigger. I removed the 2 smaller ones and they appear to be temp sensors... but I can't find anything online. It seems they made a dozen versions of this car that year.

Does anyone know if these are in fact intake temp sensors? Or know of any other intake air temp sensors on this car? If I/ we had money, we'd take the car in. Her license plates expired a couple months ago so it's gotta get fixed (she's still working 3rd shift, so I have to get her there every night... there's nobody else.) Any help would be appreciated...I can provide more info, pics, etc
