I have a 2010 Jetta Sportswagen and it barely gets in the 30 range during the winter is there anything i can do to improve the gas mileage for the winter like using a fuel additive

Had any trouble in a PD tdi?

Just a quick question to see if anyone runs biodiesel in a PD engine and what if any, problems have occurred? I've heard bio gunks up the nozzles and causes bad running? And vw only recommends a small amount be used. Thanks in advance for the help

Used to make BioD but DinoD is just too cheap. I made BioD for my two trucks and Mercedes 93 300d (350K before it died) but with Diesel at 1.98 a gallon I can't make it that cheap. I'd like to run my 2010 Jetta SW TDI on 10% BioD just for the performance and cleaning properties. Anybody...

Anybody used a Virgin Veg oil blend in their Diesel?

I live near a peanut area and read that some farmers use a seed press to make their own oil then cut it with ten to twenty percent gasoline and kerosene. I used this one tank full in my Detroit 6.5 and my 93 2.5L 300D Mercedes. has anyone tried this in a TDI or other common rail motor?

Blended Biodiesel.... is it safe for my Passat???

I pulled up to a Murphy gas station with a diesel pump. ON the pump it had a disclaimer that said the fuel contained Biodiesel and that I should consult my engine manufacturer before using, etc. The price was .10 cents cheaper than the diesel at race trac down the road, but I didn't bother...
