Hi, hope your all well.
I have 2004 Passat TDi 1.9 sport. Had it now for almost 10 years. It’s been a fantastic car and very reliable.
It’s done just over 150,000 miles now and it just developed a winning noise when decelerating. When I push the clutch in it disappears. Ive done bit of research and I’m thinking it could be the input shaft bearing wear.
Has anyone got any other ideas on this please. The engine code is AVF and the gearbox is GVS.

Thanks Paul
