HI All,

Just a quick questions, and I did do a search. What stock tire did your 2010 or 2011 GOLF TDI come with, on the US side?

Thanks,
Bill

Most Golfs seem to have come with 225/45R17 91H Continental ContiProContact. I've seen or heard of one or two that came with Michelins, but those appear to be a rare exception. The Michelins may have been on cars with port-installed optional wheels (not the standard Portos).

Thanks, I thought they all had conti's but I saw that the michelin were possible, tire rack shows those as OEM tire too...

And I have similar tire on my e90, and that tire is OK. Just was curious what kinda of shoes my ordered Golf would have on it.

Thanks,b

Well mine has Bridgestone Potenza 225/45R17 which seem pretty good. I've heard that the Dunlop tyres on the Golf can be noisey. ;)

My 2010 Golf TDI came with the ContiProContacts also. Very quiet and smooth, and I haven't been able to make them squeal yet. Hope they last a long time.
