Greetings, I need help. I just rebuild my engine after a blown turbo caused problem which led to driving the car dry(without oil) and eventually bending 1 Conrod. Got everything replaced by a mechanic. Assuming he did a good job, what precautions should I take when driving the car for the very 1st time after the repair?

While Keith may be unwilling to ever offer any advice for n00bs, I don't see any issue.

Check out this link as a baseline for breaking in a new engine. It's not without controversy, but from what I can ascertain, it may be the best method available to people lacking an engine dyno.
