WAV files through media adapter

Hi all,

I was sucessful playing .wav files through the SD slot. I want to use a USB drive to hold all my .wav files. So I purchased the USB adapter. On experimentation with a thumb drive it seems I can only play mp3 or other compressed file formats when using the USB adapter. Has anybody been able to play .wav through the adapter. If so how? I am using FAT32.
