I am looking for a 2008 V10 TDI Touareg. Here's what I am looking for:

2008 V10 Touareg
Options: Lux Plus, Technology, hitch (they all seem to be loaded anyway?)
Color: Galapagos or Alaska Gray with Sienna interior (will consider silver, black Anthracite interior if I start to get desperate.)
Milage: Low
Other: Documented maintenance and history, show room condition, non-smoker, etc. . .

Found one!

A couple of months ago, I decided I HAD to have a 2008 V10. I posted this want ad, passed on a couple of 2008 V10's, nearly bought a 2007, then found this:

The vehicle was located in Scottsdale, AZ and I drove it home to San Francisco this Saturday. I even managed to find some mud to play in on the way home:

The vehicle is a Certified Pre Owned, 2008, black on Sienna, V10 with the rear diff lock. Totally lucked out -- of course in the back of my mind I was getting greedy and hoping for lane assist and adaptive cruise control, but no such luck!

I am now starting to research things like tires, and I am realizing that I need to ditch the 19's to get a proper off road tire (must be branded with the mountain / snowflake for severe snow service.)
