I was writing a post for the EV Audi and EV VW site here Dyno curve of the VW Touareg hybrid and Porsche Cayenne hybrid « The VW and Audi hybrid blog and found a dyno chart showing the combined power of the hybrid motor and 3.0 supercharged engine in boost mode. This is when both the electric motor and gas engine are running. At full capacity, they can produce a combined peak power of 380 hp and 428 lb-ft compared to the TDI which makes 225hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. However, the 2011 VW Touareg hybrid weighs 311 lbs more than the 2011 VW Touareg TDI so the torque should feel about the same. The hp is really where it shines.

It's actually quite powerful and the low end power is comparable to the TDI engine. The main difference is that horsepower of the 2011 Touareg hybrid engine (also used in the Porsche Cayenne hybrid) keeps climbing where the TDI levels off.
