My only question is price: there will be a lot of customer overlap with the 2 door Golf so will they give the 2 door Jetta coupe high end options and keep the Golf with more basic options to differentiate the two models?
This is what I think is going to happen eventually. Americans don't like hatchbacks for the most part and the Jetta has been Volkswagen's bread and butter vehicle here - just like the Golf is the same but in Europe. Another example is BMW and their 3er, their bread and butter car but the wagon is going to go bye bye for the states next yearMy only question is price: there will be a lot of customer overlap with the 2 door Golf so will they give the 2 door Jetta coupe high end options and keep the Golf with more basic options to differentiate the two models?
