VCDS shows 01221-CRASH SENSOR SIDE AB DRIVER SIDE (G179) 37-00 FAULTY.

where is the sensor, how can i check or take it off, thanks in advance.

It should be under the seat or the carpet from what I can tell. But airbag codes are normally wiring or just pop up. Was the carpet ever flooded with a water leak? Maybe try clearing the code and see if it comes back.
