My 2005 jetta bew engine goes into limp mode dtc 16618- is there a way in vag-com to monitor the wastegate position sensor? I suspect turbo vanes are siezing up at higher temperatures.

Go to engine: advanced measuring blocks. If you don't see it there it can't be monitored while the engine is running. I know the BEW uses the smart sensor so the ECU knows what position it's at but at least on my BRM, there is no option to monitor the status through measuring blocks, or there could be and I just don't see it. If you find otherwise, please post a follow up.
