Is it possible - yes. Is it recommended - no. You are removing 2 out of 3 motor mounts. The engine can swing back and forth and in worst case, fall onto you. Get the engine mount. You can even just take a bar and hang chains from it. The advantage of the engine support is that their lifting arms are screws and let you raise or lower the engine a bit.
