Hi...we just purchased a 2001 TDI jetta....timing belt needs replaced. Can anyone steer me in the direction of the software and cable info. Iv been on Ross Tech and not sure which one i need to time it back...or if i even need that?
Im not good at forums and i tried looking but its kinda greek to me...thanks

Get the KII cable. Their basic freeware software will also do the timing but you supply a generic vag com cable. The real one from ross tech comes with full version software that can do more. If you just need to check the timing, the basic one is good enough.
