Hello all, I recently did my timing belt as well as a cp3 swap over the weekend. After install I noticed the timing belt was making a really loud whining noise, I checked and it was a good bit too tight. It’s now set to the proper tension but I’m still getting a whine albeit it’s not as loud. Can post a video of before and after fixing the tension to get a better of the whine I am hearing.

It got quieter, still there though. I’ve checked and rechecked the timing belt a dozen times now and it looks happy. The whine may have just always been there and I didn’t notice until I really paid attention to it
Glad it's quieting down. Did you change the tensioner? sometimes they are a little noisy and just need to break in.
