So, I am not even a TDI owner - - but I have a 19-year old son who bought a 2006 Jetta TDI (BRM motor). I am now having to learn all about them so that I can help him fix things! Experienced with diesel engines and have even done vegetable oil conversion on an old '85 6.2l Suburban - - - never knew I needed so many extra tools to work on this car for him! Love driving the car when it runs, just need to get it running now.

Welcome! While I have played with diesels for a while I am in no means as technical as some of the brainiacs here. You have questions, they have answers! I have a daughter that thinks I’m Rudolph Diesel and she keeps my hands dirty. Pretty sure you will grow to love the TDI, I’m on my 5th, they seem to attract deer!
