It's a sports kit car from factory five racing that is based off a Jetta TDI. The big change: it becomes a rear engine car! You have to cut off the back of the car and the roof.

Looks very interesting. However, I don't like the idea of modifying safety equipment on a car. Roll cages are designed to be strong but stiff. The front and rear crumple zones are modified/removed. It looks awesome but this is one thing that turns me off from kit cars. Plus, my state requires a new car inspection and it's very difficult for kit cars to pass emissions testing because they have to have all emissions systems in place for the year the car is built.

I did some more searching and here's an interview with the guy: http://www.boston.com/business/arti...epreneur_sees_the_future__and_it_looks_green/
Yeah but you can have a Bluesport TDI roadster or sports car or whatever they will call it before they make it.
I'm guessing they removed the head curtain airbag too. They should have put them on the rear bumper - instant crumple zones!
