howdy y'all. I'm working on my 2006 Jetta Tdi for the first time. it looks like i'm gonna have to rplace the camshaft. The timing belt was done @ 100000 km (50k ago) so are there any tricks to swapping the shaft without going trough all the timing belt steps?

Yes, you don't have to remove the motor mount, just slip the timing belt off when doing the camshaft replacement. You still have to go through all the rest of the replacement steps to make sure the timing is right. 1201 boston post road milford ct
