I need to replace the cam on my TDI. I was just wondering what experience people have had with the aftermarket cams. Metalman parts has the 1100.00 on with the Vw OEM cam and Bora parts has one with an aftermarket cam for 795.00. I was just wondering what would be the better way to go? Thanks for your help!!!!!!

If Bora parts sells it it's most likely OK. It's not like VW made such a great part either as you have found out.

I rent the 2 special cam tools if you need them.

Thanks for the offer on the tools. I already ordered them so I'll have a set.
