Aha sorry about that! The discussion is about a 70k mile 2.0 tdi which had a oil pump failure which was caused by a £2.69 part and the fact that VW have been a bit sloppy with the design of the oil pump. Pictures of the stripped engine and discussion with forum members follows.

We got the same in at the moment with a Passat that's got 66,000 on the clock. Shocking desgin imo
