tar roofing felt roll material for soundproofing panzer plate

Hi everybody,

before I install my panzer plate I was thinking to stick some tar roofing felt roll material on top of the plate for noise reduction. Would that be a good idea? If not what do you recommend?

Trim your stock plastic belly pan and place it ontop the Panzer Plate. The stock plastic pan has all those little sound deadining squares. If you like how it looks and if it reduces the noise,maybe attach it permantely. I don't think I would use roll roofing as it is flamable. Bad idea.
