Hi folks, I'm Jedro and I have a 2.0 passat tdi (2007 ) which was running ok until the swirl flap inside the plastic manifold fell to pieces and destroyed cyl no 3, valves and piston. VAG don't want to know so we decided it would be more cost effective to fit a complete engine with lower miles. We fitted it complete with new timing belt, pulleys etc, new clutch etc. It runs lovely up to 3000 revs then goes into limp mode with p0234 code, tonight i'm stripping down the turbo unit in the garage after doing checks on the vacuum pipes and actuator rod and hopefully should be purring away by sunday night, I'll let know how I get on, Any thoughts or hints would be kindly received and enjoy your sat evening and weekend, Cheers ! welcometomyturbodies
