Interesting premise, but not very well supported or documented. For example, why are Veedubs selling well in the US if Americans don't "get" Diesel?

I'm very ready to believe that Diesels are a niche market. So is Apple computer and I wish I had bought the stock back when the experts predicted they would disappear [g].

All true, but it begs the big question: is it a niche large enough to flourish? I don't have the answer but as I suggested above, dismissing a niche because it is a small percentage of a HUGE market is a mistake the "experts" seem to like to repeat.
