2010 A3 TDI with 12,xxx miles - all mine. I am used to the DSG hesitation off the line as the transmission engages from a dead stop and don't have a problem dealing with it.
However, over the past 2-3 days, over the 50-60 times I have pushed the gas pedal from a dead stop, 4-5 times the car has had a secondary stutter with no power and it is scary if you are trying to pull across in front of traffic!
Maybe...just maybe, the initial jump off the line is recently a a little 'thumpier' in the driveline when no secondary stutter is apparent. Maybe something I could call driveline lash - almost like a worn chain on a motorcycle?
No engine codes and fuel consumption is great.
