Hi all,

2003 Golf IV TDi Ahf

I'm stumped and wondering if anyone can be of assistance.

I removed my bumper, removed intercooler and flushed it out, dried it good and proper and put it all back together, everything is plugged in but now after a few seconds I get a STOP warning advising me to check coolant with the coolant (temp) indicator flashing.

Car drives fine and gets up to temp okay, coolant is not low but this wasn't happening before cleaning the intercooler.

No errors on VCDS currently.

Can anyone provide some insight on this? Could it be the sensor on the intercooler? I cant seem to find anything like this on the forum.

Thanks for any input at all, it would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Matt

Has to be a connector or wire got ragled during the repair job, I would guess. Start with the coolant overflow tank wire.
So I scraped off the sensor in the coolant reservoir unplugged it and plugged back in then I just checked all the connectors by the headlight and just neatened them up a bit. Seems like it's no longer an issue. Thanks for the input!
