Slow computer???

My 2010 Jetta sportwagon TDI, auto has a bad hesitation, If traffic is heavy you better make the right choice when pulling out. Is this normal?? Its like having a 386 computer when everyone else has a Intel i7. Anyone else have these issues?? I only have 4700 miles and the computer was re flashed 2 days after taking delivery.. Scared to let my wife drive it...
