SKC code in Los Angeles

All,

Has anyone been able to get their SKC code from a dealership in Los Angeles?

I've call several and they won't do it without plugging the car in and charging $125.

Thanks for any help

They can't give it to you because it goes directly from the database to the tool to the car. They never see it. Whatever they're saying it's just to get you in the door.
