LOL.
The color is strange - I don't think it's the lighting because my car is graphite blue and never looks like that.
LOL.A funny thing happened with the new Volkswagen Golf TDI: It was mistakenly delivered to us with plastic spring spacers in place, which help secure the vehicle in shipping but are supposed to be removed by the dealer before the car ever goes on sale. “I don’t know what it is, but this thing just doesn’t feel as compliant as our long-term Jetta,†mused Calvin Kim, our Assistant Road Test Editor who had assumed the TDI Golf would be sportier than the Jetta TDI.
Well, once the spacers were removed, the Golf TDI did in fact feel that way, sporting a supple ride and well-controlled suspension movements that allowed this front-drive 5-door hatch to weave through our slalom at an impressive 64.4 mph.
Exactly my point! I have a 2010 Jetta Blue Graphite loaner (My R32 needs a new gas tank) and it DOES NOT look that blue in the shade or sunlight.LOL.

I know this is an old post but it isn't a fluke. Mine is Shadow Blue which is the same as the pic. In the UK then Blue Graphite is more of a grey. The only do 2 blue colours for the Golf and I'm not bothered about either of them but you have to choose something as blue is my favourite colour. The Golf shown looks like Shadow Blue and not to be mistaken by Graphite Blue. Do you think this is a fluke?
