Hi Everyone:

After having the car for 4 weeks I turned the radio on one day and it gave me a keypad for a security code. My selling dealer never put the code in the owners manual. After going to a closer VW dealer they said the selling dealer should have it in their computer. I called them and they in fact did have it and I put the code in. I then was able to operate the radio, MDI, etc. but I had to re-program all my presets. The nearby dealer took a look at the car yesterday and they said it was ok but to bring it back if (radio) it locks up with the keypad on the screen so they can try and fugure out what initially caused this. Anyone else experience this?

It sounds like they didn't do a lot - they didn't write the security code in the manual and didn't remove the suspension blocks. I found this dealer checklist, what else didn't they do?
