hi im a newby, i have recently bought an 05 seat leon tdi FR and a couple of times it has failed to start but not from cold, cold start is fine, was just random, was stuck in supermarket cer park it feels like it tries it does fire but wont run, but to no avail, so towed it and away it went, , so had it on service bay laptop and scanned it and no errors anuwhere, but was told it could be main relay, in older models it is in glove box, does anyone know where it is in the 05 FR model mk1, as it could be worth a try unless someone knows better thank you,

This is just a guess, the relays should be under the hood in a plastic box or under the driver's side knee panels.

Check all the grounds. It sounds electrical. It's possible that the air valve is shut, some cars had problems with the gears stripping. It's probably not a fuel problem because normally it's more consistent.
