replacing driver window on o6 vw jetta tdi

good morning to all . just replaced my drivers widow moter and my drivers window works when it want can it be the switch or do i have to reset something ?

YES AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY IS SEE YOU ARE VERY!!!! good with info on these cars. so i guess there is no resetting my by the switch
