There is alot of discussion about tyres on the VW forums which are good and which are bad. My Bridgestone Potenza 050 225/45/17 are quite enough.

P.S. Please add 2010 Jetta TDI to your car spec it will save users asking and posting what car it is in your threads?

I am also a Michelin freak...can't wait for the OEM tires to hit the tread wear bars.

I am curious to see if the Michelins produce a measurable MPG increase. I have never noticed an MPG increase on my vehicles when shifting from OEM tires to Michelin's. However, all of my Michelins definitely out lasted the OEM tires by at least twice the mileage.

Michelin's are more renown for long lasting which normally means they don't grip as much, you can't have grippy tyres that last a long time?

Could you guys give us an update on the new MXM4 tires? Are they still quiet and grippy?

I just don't want to get rid of perfectly good tires only to find out the new ones are just as noisy after 20k miles.

Primacy are one of the best all around tires I've ever used. It is one of the best rain tires also, glad that I went with these instead of the Pilot Sports.
