Rear main seal leak?

Hello everyone! I was in the middle of replacing the dual mass flywheel on my 2014 2.0 tdi sportwagen and I noticed a lot of old oil residue. Does it look like the rear main seal is leaking?

The rear main seal looks pretty clean to me, but while you have it apart like that it wouldn't hurt to replace it. I would have a look at the input shaft seal on the transmission I think you have more sludge on the transmission side than the engine. The manual transmissions are very easy to do, not sure about the automatics.

Do both you are there no sense in taking things apart as second time for a cheap seal.....it is what I did on my 04 when I went to a normal clutch/flywheel....no more Dual mass problem children...but then I know nothing about Automatic xmissions....never had one, hope never will.....
