I have a 2006 vw golf tdi mk4 and currently changing out the left rear brakes ( rotor, caliper, pads). After putting everything together i notice the rotor is right against the caliper guide. Was wondering if anyone had insight on what might be wrong? Is there a shim i can put in at the caliper bracket?

Thanks,

Still have the boxes and invoice? Go back to the store and make sure they gave you the correct parts.
Yeah I went back and made sure I had the right parts and I do. The old rotor was just touching the caliber and I assumed it was a bad rotor. Replacing the calliper because the piston was sticking.
Should I try using a wire wheel to cleanup the rust on the hub better?
