Real compatability of bio and CRD?

Even though B5 is the limit, how much bio is too much for the new engines?

IMHO, stick with VW's suggestion until there's further evidence. The main difference is the active exhaust filter regens where post combustion injection of fuel goes into the exhaust and is burned up there to heat it up. There have been some concerns about the filter lifespan because it could get clogged but there is no set interval by VW for replacement, only to check it. And that basically means drive it until there's a problem. Then again, someone has to try it out.
VW has always said 5% even though they ran fine on B100. They now say that bio dilutes the engine oil in addition to the other stuff chitty mentioned.
