So I just finished the 80k service which is just 14k overdue and mother nature protested the entire time. After getting everything back together I checked torsion value it's at "-.98". Although car runs and accelerate much better than before I would like to get the the value to 0 or close as possible.
If I loosen the 3 cam sprocket bolts which direction do I rotate the 18mm camshaft bolt to advance the timing to get to 0?

Please forgive me for this is my first tdi vehicle and my budget has been drained by the lack of maintenance from the p.o. and their mechanics.

Thanks for the help as always.

I had the same experience so I just tried one way then the other. Be advised tho it takes only a very small movement to make a lot of difference.
