Hi guys, I've been searching everywhere on the internet on how to take of the cam gear hub to change the cam seal, but came up empty. I have a PD (BEW) engine. I'm am currently using a harmonic balancer puller. Everything lines up with the three bolt holes on the hub, but when I use the puller to pull it out, the hub is not budging. I was wondering if this pulley is a pressed on pulley? Looking at it, it looks like its pressed on. Does anyone have experience with this cam gear hub on the PD (BEW) engine? If so, please let me know.

Yes, it's pressed on. Either rent the tool or remove the camshaft (not recommended). I'm not trying to drum up a rental here but the right tool makes life much easier. Here are the 2 special tools in use:
