Don't know but I would wait for others to try it first. I think the diesel particulate filter in the exhaust is all new and the calibration of the engine is slightly different. Is the warranty for their box or does it cover any damage caused by their box. I haven't heard of a new chip but it's just a matter of time, which is why I would wait.
For a car under warranty, a removable box might be a better idea. A chip should be transparent but they aren't out yet, they aren't tested long term, and it's possible that the dealer could detect it. The new ECU is encrypted which just means that it'll take longer to get a program out there. BMW ECUS can detect if they've ever been chipped and if they detect a chipping, they flag your VIN number.
