The 2009 TDI ECU does not allow chipping or flashing. Diesel Power has a performance module for sale already. Its based on 2 years of European TDI Common Rail Jetta development. Is there a difference in PMs? Who has had a good experience with what? Joe at PD says his give 20%power increase and 10% economy with a 3 year warranty. That sounds good but for $650.00 is there a better one? Gotta know!

More info on tuning boxes

For common rail ie 2009 Jetta TDi, which has been out for two years in Europe, in similar form they tell me: DieselPowers box plugs in between the Rail and ECU. All it does is increase rail pressure which leads to superior atomization of fuel and increase of power about 20% and economy 10%. If you start looking European motorheads have been using these for years. The DSG limits overpowering and clutch slippage may occur for manual users.
