I have a 2010 JSW with ~50k miles on it. This week the check engine light came on, and I hooked it up to a VAG-COM interface:
I did a quick drive and watched the RPM, MAF sensor values, and Engine load (bank 3). Initially the MAF requested matched the Actual and the Engine load seemed responsible. Roughly 30 seconds after I started the car the Engine load got pegged at 100% and the MAF actually tracked at roughly double the requested value. This seems like it is probably related to the exhaust pressure control valve being stuck open.
Are there any suggestions on possible solutions to fix this? Where is the valve located and is it possible to clean?
