Hello to everyone:

As I was doing my regular oil change, I found that the engine had an oil leak. The level was low (the tip of the dipstick was wet) and it looks like it is coming from the driver side. I did not see any oil where the filter is located (I thought I might have not tight it enough the last time I change the oil) and it is very difficult to find the source.

I wanted to reach out to you and ask if anyone else has experienced a similar leak and what did you find it was the cause.

The odomoter marks 160K. I replaced the timing belt at 80K. Regular oil changes every 7.5K.

Thanks in advance for your help fellas.

oil filter o-ring means you don't have to kill the filter cap. most likely not leaking from there
common leaks - valve cover, tandem pump, and the turbo intake o-ring.

I replaced the turbo intake o-ring and it fixed a minor leak for me. Looks like that may be yours, if original, strongly recommend replacement of this o-ring. It's in back. remove air intake hoses to get to it.

You do have a leak in the front though, just try to trace the source.

Update: Issue was the valve cover. For an unknown reason, the valve cover was loose completely. I bought a new valve cover gasket and replaced it. The leak has ceased.
