I need to service the transmission fluid in my 2006.5 jetta diesel. Can only find info on manuel transmissions. Anyone know where to go to find the info for a dsg?

Here are instructions: http://www.scribd.com/doc/5493363/DIY-DSG-02E-Transmission-40000-miles-maintenance-service

FYI, there's a writeup contest for step by step pictorials if you choose to document it and post it here. This is one of the writeups I have been looking for. It would also help many others. Basically, do what they did but with larger pictures.

Also, instead of buying the expensive VW fill tool you can make your own for cheap: http://deviantspeed.com/diy-dsg-fill-tool-vw-vas6262 here are instructions.

Thanks Chitty! This site is awesome because of folks like you!
It could be even better because of folks like you (hint, hint) :) If you have a digital camera all it takes is a few minutes of your time and there could be a better writeup. Read those writeups, see where they need improvement, and take plenty of pictures. More is better since some won't be in focus or show what you want. If you win the writeup contest the prize is a $50 e-gift certificate to kermatdi.com, so that is some pretty good motivation to help contribute. Read the rules--guidelines here: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/forum/f9/writeup-award-gift-certificate-through-sponsor-kermatdi-2295/
