Hi,

Can somebody explain to me what is the role of the screw shown in the picture (red circle) ?

I took it out because I thought it was the tandem pump pressure port. The screw above is the port for measuring the
pressure of a tandem pump.

Thank you

I understand, I would not complaine that I have a 4x4 transmission. :)
My transmission have code JCR ( FWD ).

Although the transmission type is not currently relevant to the doubt that I have about the tandem pump.
I suspect that a nuts that I mistakenly pulled out is some kind of return valve. And now I'm not sure if a calibration of a tandem pump is required.

My tandem pump have this part number:
038 145 209 M
V14.0

You said your Octavia isn't 4x4 ok.

Manufacturer: Skoda, Date(s) Used: 02/2006-04/2013, Model: Octavia, Octavia II 1.9 TDI-PD, Transmission Code: JCR, Transmission Type: 5S, Remarks: 0A4 Gearbox (front-wheel drive)

The problem with ElsaWin with Skoda is they only have one database 03/2012.

As I've said: Any problems search TDI Wiki as that covers write ups and forum posts.
