I modded the ALH engine cover to fit the PD engine cover. One way to do DIY is to use a bolt in the stud location and a tightly fitted hose on the cover to hold it down. I bought the PD engine cover studs and pop covers. The only mod is to cut the hole wider. All in all, I think it was worth it.

Also are pics of jack points. Never raise the car unless you know what you're doing and have read the factory service manual's cautions on raising the car. This article has my notes on my car and my situation only. In other words, if you raise the car and it crushes you don't sue me because you have to take responsibility to suit the notes to your own car and exact situation.

I also put undercoating on the wheel wells - combined with the engine cover, I think the car is pretty quiet. Not Lexus 400 quiet but quiet for a light diesel.
