Hi,
New to the forum but some of you may know me from UK-MKIV's.
I have a 2003 MK4 Golf Tdi 130 (ASZ engine) and it has been recently dropping into limp mode and returning this in VCDS
17965 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation
P1557 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
After some research I have replaced the N75 and Vac lines but this has not made any difference so now I'm thinking it is the VNT mechanism that is coked up so I have a few options
So I'm researching the cleaning options at the moment and I'm also open to ther suggestions
TIA
Neil

- Chemical clean (Innotec) - easiest option
- Remove turbo and manually clean VNT mechanism - cheapest option
- Remove turbo and get it refurbed
- Get a reconditioned unit - last resort
So I'm researching the cleaning options at the moment and I'm also open to ther suggestions
