I have an '05 VW Beetle that I am planning to do a timing belt change on in the near future.

Yes, I've seen the 1000how to and index faq for the timing belt. I've also purchased the Bentley service manual for this year and model.

The illustrations in the 1000 how to and index faq are better than the ones in the service manual.

I found my bentley is more of a large paper weight. Online has much more pictures and directions from real people and not engineers.
