Welcome! FYI, do a camshaft check before the TB to see if it's worn or not. Some have it, some don't, but you should check so that you don't have to do the TB twice.

I own a 2006 jetta tdi. I am in Houston Tx. I am researching timing belt maintenance. The couple of years i have owned this car have been trouble free and enjoyable. So far this has been the best car I've ever owned.
